My Cheap Rugs Passed!
I have always loved watching Lifestyle Network because of so many things I am learning about home, fashion, living, travel & leisure, food and so much more. I may not be able to apply everything but the information I am getting is refreshing and can be handy in the future. The shows can be as simple as teaching the audience how to clean their house to as extreme as destroying the featured house and re-building a better one in a week. Also, my cooking has improved a lot because of their quick meals I have come to love because they have helped busy working moms like me serve good and healthy food to their families.
One particular Lifestyle Network show that stuck on my mind is when they did a house make-over using Area Rugs. I have never used rugs in designing the interiors of my condominium. It’s because I have always looked at area rugs as bulky, old fashioned and hard to clean. But on this particular episode though, the hosts were able to show how easy it is to use rugs to design the house and proved how rugs can make a huge difference. Because aside from giving life to a dull floor, I never realized that area rugs can also be used as wall tapestries. Before that show ended, the host gave some tips to identify a quality rug. According to them, one should do a smile test, check it for bleeding and look closely at the knots. Wanting to apply it instantly, I did some test with the Cheap Rugs I bought just recently at Superior Rugs. They were on Superior Rug’s ‘Deal of the Day,’ in which rugs of superior quality (according to them) are sold at more than 70% discount. And guess what, as expected, those cheap rugs passed!
