It Is In the Planning

free_reservationI consider myself to have matured over the years in terms of planning for my travels. I remember way back in my university days when I went on an Asian trip with my college buddies. Being young and reckless, we thought that it will be a great adventure just to pack our bags, hop on a plane and let fate decide how our vacation will turn out. Due to minimal planning and no hotel reservations, we almost spent a night on the streets of Kuala Lumpur since almost all hotels were already fully booked. We ended up in dingy, crowded and overpriced inn and it almost ruined our vacation. Looking back, it is indeed quite an adventure and we always laugh about that experience. Now, almost 15 years after, I don’t think I am still up for that kind of travel. I will be visiting either Madrid, New York or Rome from September to October this year and as early as now, I have already booked my flights and I am now scouting for a nice and affordable hotel. I have already searched the net using keywords such as apartments Rome, hotel New York or Hotel Madrid to find an accommodation that will give me the best value for my money.
